A good manager can take an artist/band a long way. "Let the artist be the artist and the manager the machine behind the artist" A managers job is to advise and counsel his/her artist, while working as a team to further the career of the artist. "A manager is only as good and committed as his client is". A lot of artist get confused about what a managers job really is...plain and simple...we handle the day to day business of the artist career. Everything from finding studios, producers,writers, PR people, videographers, photographers, marketing/promotions, career advice, album/single artwork, picking songs, tour coordination, publishing, dealing with record labels, list goes on and on. One major mistake a rookie manager makes is....he/she forgets that he/she works for the artist, not the other way around. "It's a team effort, there has to be good communication and good vibes...otherwise it will not work".
